We're truck people first.
BC Mobile Truck Canopy started with one simple idea: truck owners shouldn't have to compromise on fit, installation, or how they use their truck.
We saw too many people paying dealership prices for canopies that didn't fit properly or required drilling into factory bed rails. We wanted to do it differently.
We supply full aluminium canopies, verify the fitment before they're built, and bring the installation directly to you — your driveway, your job site, wherever you are across BC's Lower Mainland.
Built around your truck. Not the other way around.
We keep things simple.
Every canopy is fitment-verified for your year, make, model and bed length before it is built. Every installation uses a clamp-on mounting system, keeping your factory bed rails intact.
No showroom overhead.
No pressure.
No unnecessary upsells.
Just honest advice, properly fitted gear, and an installation done where it makes sense for you.
If a simpler setup is the better choice for how you actually use your truck, we'll tell you.
The way truck gear should be.
Good equipment should work hard, fit properly, and make your life easier.
That's why we focus on durable aluminium canopies, straightforward service, and mobile installation across the Lower Mainland — with Canada-wide shipping for customers outside our local service area.
Honest gear. Fitted right. Installed where you are.
Frequently asked questions
Do you really come to me to install?
Yes. Mobile install across the Lower Mainland — we bring the tools and mount at your home or job site. Install pricing is set by zone at checkout based on how far we travel.
Will the canopy fit my truck?
Tell us year, make, model and bed length when you order. We confirm fitment before your canopy ships. If we can't fit it, you don't pay for it.
Is drilling required?
No. Every canopy mounts with clamp-on hardware — no holes in your bed rails.
How long does an install take?
Most installs are done in a single visit. We seal the canopy, test the locks and windows, and walk you through everything before we leave.
Do you ship outside the Lower Mainland?
Yes — we can ship your canopy and walk you through self-install. Mobile install itself is Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley for now.
What's included with the canopy?
A full aluminium canopy, weather-sealed and rack-ready, powder-coated. Add-ons like crossbars, a side tool box, or interior LED lighting are available separately.
How does payment work?
You order and pay through the site. Mobile install is added as a zone-based option at checkout. Canopies are in stock and ship fast — we confirm fitment before your canopy leaves our BC warehouse.
MOLLE panels or windows — which should I get?
MOLLE panels give you solid, lockable aluminium sides with mounting rails for gear — the pick for security and work or overland loadouts. Windows add sliding side glass for light and visibility, for a couple hundred more. Tell us how you'll use the truck and we'll point you the right way.
Are the canopies weatherproof?
Yes — weather-sealed against rain and road spray, all the way around, so your gear stays dry in normal weather. A clean install is what makes the seal work, which is exactly what our mobile install gets you.
Do the canopies lock?
Yes — every canopy is lockable, so your bed becomes secure, sealed storage. Want the most locked-up space? Go with the solid MOLLE panels.
How much weight can the roof hold?
Up to 750 lb parked (static) and 500 lb while driving (dynamic) — plenty for racks, baskets, gear, and a rooftop tent. A tent counts as a driving load, so keep the setup within the 500 lb dynamic rating. Add our high-canopy crossbar to mount it all.
Is there a warranty?
Yes — a 2-year factory warranty on the canopy shell and hardware against defects. We back our own install work too. If something's not right, we'll make it right.
Do you fit older trucks?
Often, yes — it's about the bed generation, not just the year. We carry fits like the RAM 1500 Classic (2009–2018) alongside current trucks. Send us your year, make, model and bed length and we'll confirm.
Can I take the canopy off later?
Yes — it's clamp-mounted, so two people can lift it off with no holes left behind. Aluminium is lighter than fiberglass but still heavy and awkward, so never do it solo.
Can I return it?
Changed your mind? Unused, uninstalled canopies in original condition can come back within 7 days — return shipping is on you, and a restocking fee may apply. Installed and clearance canopies are final sale. Damaged, defective, or wrong item? That's on us — contact us within 48 hours with photos and we'll sort it.
